Vaccinium ovatum 'Indians Wanderer'

Huckleberry: Evergreen California native plant spreads by underground stems. Red stems reach about 3' tall with narrow leaves that are dark green. Small white flowers mature to edible and delectable dark fruits in fall. Part sun to part shade with medium water.  Hummingbird and pollinator friendly. Fire and deer resiatant. Drought tolerant once established.
