Thunbergia alata 'Mary Lou Heard'

Orange Black-Eyed Susan Vine: Evergreen vine that sprawls along the ground and clambers up on anything that will support it. The twining stems will reach 6-8' tall and are covered with nearly year-round, orange tubular flowers with blackish purple eyes. Flowers are more abundant and color is more saturated in full sun. Sometimes treated as an annual, it is perennial in frost free areas. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Good in containers and for cut flowers. Full sun to part shade. Seacoast, clay, sand, and heat tolerant. Medium water. Deer, rabbit and gopher resistant.
