Dune Tansy: Evergreen CA Native that grows in sand dunes from the Bay Area north. Shrubby groundcover with soft soft fern-like foliage spreads quickly. Clusters of yellow, button-shaped flowers on stalks up to 2 ft. tall. Full sun to part shade. Sand, clay, heat and drought tolerant once established. Fragrant foliage, prized for its medicinal uses. Good for erosion control. Pollinator favorite. Low to medium water.
