Symphytum officinale (Comfrey)

Comfrey, Knitbone, Boneset: Grows 2-3' tall. Attractive purple flowers and large long and pointed soft, hairy leaves. Healing herb to use as a poultice or in salves for wounds and cuts. Full sun to part sun, medium water. Deciduous. Gopher, deer and rabbit resistant. Clay, heat and drought tolerant once established
