Blue chalksticks: Drought & heat tolerant. Trailing plant with short 1-2" long, slender powdery blue-grey pencil-like fleshy leaves. Small white flowers in mid-summer. Forms a dense mat. Good for warm sunny hillsides & containers. Provide year round interest, taking on purple tints in extreme heat & sun exposure. 1' tall x 2-3' wide. Full sun to part sun. Low water.
