Solanum xanti 'Mountain Pride'

Purple Nightshade: A loosely spreading, adaptable, CA Native semi-evergreen subshrub to 2' tall x 30" wide. Lightly fragrant clusters of showy, 1" wide, rich purple flowers in winter and spring. Full sun to part shade. Heat, clay, sand, wind, and drought tolerant once established.  Looks best with occasional summer water. Good for containers, dry shade. Deer, gopher, rabbit and fire resistant.
