Clinopodium (Satureja) douglasii

Yerba Buena, Indian Mint: CA native in the mint family has a mat-forming trailing habit with dark green, dense fragrant foliage. Great in containers and hanging baskets. Leaves make good tea. White flowers in spring-fall. 2-6" tall x 3' wide. Low to medium water. Part sun to part shade. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
