Salvia mellifera

Black Sage: CA native shrub 3'-5' tall x 5' wide. Evergreen, fragrant leaved trailing plant that can spill over walls. Pale lavender flowers are almost white. Seed grown. Attracts bees, pollinators, and hummingbirds. Full sun, low water needs. Clay, wind, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer and gopher resistant.
