Salvia iodantha (michoacana)

Mexican Fuchsia Sage, Scandent Mexican Sage:  Evergreen fast growing shrub or woody vine, native to Mexico. 6-10' tall x 4-6' wide. Long, tubular clusters of fuzzy fuchsia-purple colored flowers from fall-spring attract hummingbirds, bees & butterflies. Good for cut flowers and foliage. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Heat, sand, clay, and drought tolerant once established. Deer and rabbit resistant.
