This hybrid salvia combines good features of both its parents, Salvia microphylla and Salvia chamedryoides. Hummingbird and bee favorite. Vibrant purple flowers appear from spring to fall. Spreads by underground rhizomes, but is easily controlled. Fragrant foliage. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer resistant. Good cut flower.
