Salvia apiana

White Sage: A striking evergreen CA native sage with large, silvery-white, aromatic leaves and tall lavender tinged white flower stalks above the foliage. 2-4' tall and wide with flowering stalks adding another 2' or more above that. A useful plant for sunny, dry areas with good drainage. Used in smudge bundles as a natural incense. A bee and hummingbird favorite. Drought and heat tolerant. Gopher and deer resistant.
