Salvia apiana 'Compact'

Compact White Sage: Evergreen CA native sage 2' tall and wide with large, silvery-white, aromatic leaves and tall lavender tinged white flower stalks that rise above the 18" or more above the foliage. This version of the plant is more compact than the usual form. Useful for sunny, dry areas with good drainage. Used in smudge bundles as a natural incense. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, bees and pollinators. Full sun. Low water. Seacoast, wind, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
