Salvia apiana 'Compact'

White Sage: A striking CA native sage with large, silvery-white, aromatic leaves and tall lavender tinged white flower stalks above the foliage. This version of the plant is more compact than the usual form. around 2' tall and wide with flowering stalks adding another 18" or more above that. A useful plant for sunny, dry areas with good drainage. Used in smudge bundles as a natural incense. A bee and hummingbird favorite. Drought and heat tolerant, gopher and deer resistant.
