Rubus spectabilis

Salmonberry: CA and Western State native.  Thicket forming, deciduous arching branches 3-9' tall. Prefers wet areas. Clay, sand, seacoast and wind tolerant. Solitary red flowers and tasty salmon colored berries resemble raspberries. Great for birds and wildlife. Deer resistant.
