Matilija Poppy: Spreads from underground runners, this CA native grows 4'-6' tall to 8'wide.  Large fragrant 7" white bloom with crinkled petals and yellow center. Silvery foliage. Full to part sun. Drought tolerant once established. Finicky about planting, careful not to disturb roots when planting. Drought, fire, and deer resistant.
