Roldana petasitis

Velvet Groundsel: Tropicalesque foliage. Full to part sun. Bushy, fairly dense sprawling multi-branching evergreen shrub 8-10' tall and wide with large 8" velvety soft and roundish leaves. Deep burgundy colored flower buds and flower clusters of 1/2" yellow daisy flowers in spring. Deer-resistant and drought tolerant once established but looks best with occasional irrigation. Pollinator friendly. Seacoast tolerant but does not like windy sites.
