Raspberry 'Glencoe'

Black Raspberry: A very flavorful heirloom, medium, firm fruit, ripens in August. Provide support for the vigorous canes. Full sun and medium water in well drained soil. Feed and mulch in spring.  A cross of native black raspberry and red raspberry. Great for containers. One plant will produce a multi-stemmed clump, it does not spread as much as red and yellow raspberries do. Tip prune in the summer at 30 inches to keep as a bush. Remove old canes after they've fruited. Resistant to Verticillium Wilt.
