Quercus tomentella

Island Live Oak or Channel Islands Oak, is a rare species, endemic to the Channel Islands of California. Eventually 25-40 feet tall (or more in rich soil with some wind protection). Its bark is usually gray and becomes furrowed with age. Acorns take 2 years to mature.  Evergreen. Drought tolerant once established.
