Quercus kelloggii

Kellogg Oak, California Black Oak: Deciduous tree, 40-80 ft. Sun or light shade.  Drought tolerant once established, great fall color. Gold-green catkins dangle from the branch tips in the spring, followed by plump acorns. Native from Oregon to southern California. Low water.
