Prunus ilicifolia

Hollyleaf Cherry: Coastal CA native evergreen shrub or small tree 10-25' tall and wide, with dense foliage and small white flowers. Great for birds. Medium water. Plant in full to part shade. Can be clipped into a formal hedge, pruned to be treelike, or left with it's natural shrub form.  Seacoast, heat, wind and drought tolerant once established. Looks best with occasional deep watering. Deer resistant.
