Prunella vulgaris v. lanceolata

Self-heal: Creeping native perennial herb forms a low dense mat of foliage, with medicinal properties. Upright spikes of purple flowers over a long period summer to fall. Plant in full sun to part shade with low to medium water. Grows to 6-18" tall and 12-18" wide. Versatile and vigorous, can be used as groundcover, deer resistant, also sand and clay tolerant. Attracts bees, pollinators and hummingbirds.
