Polygala virgata 'Portola'

Purple Broom: A fast growing shrub up to 6' tall, with long, narrow leaves and spikes of purple sweetpea-like blossoms in summer to fall. Tends to be very upright growing and bare at the base. Tolerates dry conditions and frost once established. Full sun to part shade. Low water needs.
