Kohuhu. Evergreen shrub. Fast growing 8-20', admired for its dense growth, slender black twigs and small, almost uniformly grey green, especially shiny leaves. Easily sheared and shaped. Sun or light shade, most soils, moderate to occasional watering when established. Purple flowers in Spring. Hardy to 15-20F.
