Pilosocereus azeureus (P. pachycladus)

Blue Torch Cactus: Blue colored cactus native to Brazil. The blue gets bluer as the cactus ages. Blue Torch is a tall pillar type cactus with downy fur along the ribs and golden spines. At night, it blooms white flowers that are pollinated by bats and sphinx moths. Good for indoors or out. It grows quickly, eventually to 12', but will stay windowsill size for several years. Full sun to part sun, low water. The brighter the light, the bluer it gets.
