Philodendron hederaceum (pittieri) var. hederaceum

Velvet Philodendron: A tropical plant native to Mexico and Central America. It's a climber that grows in wet tropical biomes and can reach heights of 20 feet in the wild, but is usually 4 feet tall indoors. The plant has heart-shaped, dark green leaves that can have a bronze tint when they first emerge. On young plants, the leaves are typically 4 inches long, but can grow up to 12" on mature plants. Will survive outdoors in mild climates.
