California Phacelia, California Scorpionweed: CA native herbaceous perennial that grows in meadows and bluffs along the coast ranges. 12-18" tall x 24" wide with large coils of lavender fiddle neck flowers from March to September. Attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Nectar source for the Mission Blue butterfly. Good cut flower. Full sun. Low water. Heat, clay and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
