Woodland Phacelia: Easy to grow CA native perennial for part shade. Tolerates drought but looks best with some irrigation. Mounds of soft foliage 6-8" tall x 24" wide. Powder blue-lavender flowers to 1" wide appear in late spring-summer. Good for hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. The seeds are enjoyed by songbirds. Relatively short-lived but can reseed. Deer resistant. Low to medium water. Can remain evergreen if watered during the dry season.
