Persea americana (Avocado) 'Lamb Hass'

Lamb Hass Avocado: Cross between a Hass and a Gwen avocado that produces larger, later-maturing fruit than the Hass. Grafted on Zutano root stock. Evergreen. Upright, prolific, and compact growth to 20' tall x 15' wide with dark green, pebbly skin that turns purplish-black as the fruit ripens. Easy to peel. Great flavor with creamy texture inside. Self-fertile, but planting other avocado trees may boost fruit set. Fragrant greenish yellow flowers. Full sun. Medium water. Can be used for cut flowers. Attracts birds, hummingbirds, bees and pollinators. Heat, sand and drought tolerant.
