Pennisetum setaceum 'Fireworks' (P. advena 'Fireworks')

Variegated Purple Fountain Grass: Clumping semi-evergreen grass that grows upright 24-30" tall x 24-30" wide with tricolor pink, white, and green foliage that arches gracefully outwards and produces one foot long red plume-like inflorescences from summer-fall. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Good in containers and for cut flower. Attracts birds and pollinators. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established but appreciates occasional irrigation. Deer, gopher and rabbit resistant. Cut back in late winter.
