Passiflora 'Incense'

Incense Passion Vine: A rare tropical looking evergreen climbing vine with tendrils, growing 10–20' long, with large rounded waxy leaves, and very large 5" diameter purple and white fragrant flowers that appear from late spring to fall, followed by seed pods that contain juicy, tart pulp (good for jam). Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. It is a hybrid of the North American Maypop (Passiflora incarnata) and the Brazilian Passiflora cincinnata. Good for containers. Full sun to part shade. Low to high water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand and drought tolerant once established but prefers occasional water. Deer resistant.
