Pachystachys (Justicia) lutea

Yellow Shrimp Plant, Lollipop Plant, Golden Candle: Evergreen sub-shrub 3' tall x 2' wide with small tubular white flowers enclosed in ornamental golden-yellow bracts that resemble shrimp. Blooms from spring-summer. Great in containers and for cut flowers. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Can be grown indoors or outside. Part sun to part shade. Medium water. Heat and sand tolerant. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
