Oxalis oregana 'Klamath Ruby'

Klamath Ruby Redwood Sorrel: Easy to grow, evergreen CA native clover-like rhizomatic groundcover that forms a beautiful dense carpet. It typically grows in deep shade beneath redwood trees in moist coastal forests. Each leaf is divided into three 1” heart-shaped dark green leaflets that are marbled with a silvery accent and a burgundy blush on the underside. Tiny star-shaped white flowers from spring to fall. Good in containers and flower arrangements. Part shade to shade. Medium to high water. Seacoast, sand, clay, bog and drought tolerant, but prefers regular irrigation. Deer, rabbit, and fire resistant.
