Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'

Slow spreading, grassy evergreen. Grows to about 12" tall, dark black foliage, and small white flowers. Full sun to shade, needs at least average drainage. Stunning contrast for the front of the border with exceptional, dense, purple-black, grass-like foliage. Produces dark lavender flowers in summer that are followed by purple berries in fall.
