Deer Grass: Clumping CA native grass 3-5' tall and wide. Bright green to green-grey foliage. Tall, narrow grey spikelets rise high above the clump in winter. Attracts butterflies, birds, and other wildlife. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
