Cardinal Monkey Flower, Scarlet Monkey Flower: CA Native perennial with red or orange flowers from spring to fall. Grows 1.5-3' tall x 3' wide. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun (with ample water) to part shade. Seacoast, clay, sand, and bog tolerant. Medium to high water needs. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
