Erythranthe (Mimulus) cardinalis

Cardinal Monkey Flower, Scarlet Monkey Flower: CA Native perennial with red or orange flowers from spring to fall. Grows 1.5-3' tall x 3' wide. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Good for containers and for cut flowers. Full sun (with ample water) to part shade. Seacoast, clay, sand, and bog tolerant. Medium to high water needs. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
