Melinis nerviglumis

Ruby Grass: Evergreen. Pink blooms, grass turns red in the fall, normally soft grey-green. Clumps grow 18" high and wide. Can withstand periodic drought, but looks better with average water. Prefers well drained soil. Part sun to full sun and average water. Drought and deer tolerant. Low to medium water.
