Melaleuca (Callistemon) fulgens subsp. steedmanii

Steedman’s Honey-myrtle, Dwarf Bottlebrush: Rare evergreen shrub to small tree, typically 10–20' tall and wide, with fine textured foliage and showy orange-red flowers in spring to early summer. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, bees, and pollinators. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, gopher, rabbit, and fire resistant.
