Mazus reptans

Cupflower: Low growing evergreen groundcover 2-4' tall x 20" wide. Quickly fills in to form a dense mat of green foliage with mini, orchid-like, Lavender blue flowers with white and yellow markings from spring-summer. Tolerates some foot traffic. Attracts hummingbirds, birds and pollinators. Considered invasive in parts of the US that get year-round rainfall. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Seacoast, clay, sand and bog tolerant. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
