Lupinus sericatus

Cobb Mountain Lupine: Rare CA native evergreen perennial from the North Coast range with distinctive silvery, glossy, and compact palmate foliage to 20" tall and wide, topped with 1 foot tall whorls of purple flower spikes in late spring. Full sun. Low to medium water. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, butterflies and pollinators. Good in containers. Seacoast, wind, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher, and fire resistant.
