Lophomyrtus x ralphii 'Kathryn'

This tidy evergreen shrub with slender stems is densely clad with soft shiny bronze leaves, up to 1 inch long, which are margined with creamy yellow, and display maroon shadings in winter. Small white flowers with the brushes of stamens typical of the myrtles appear in summer. A beautiful foliage shrub, 6-8 feet tall or more when mature. Sun or light shade, well drained soil, moderate watering. Great plant near the coast.
