Purple-Leaf Japanese Honeysuckle: Deciduous perennial vine. Deer & drought resistant. Clay tolerant. A vigorous & free flowering woody-stemmed plant with clusters of tubular, extremely fragrant purple-red & white flowers that age to a creamy yellow. This vine produces coral-red fruit & its foliage turns purple-bronze in winter. Attracts butterflies & hummingbirds. Can be invasive. Flowers from early summer-fall. 10-30' tall. Low to medium water.
