Lomandra hystrix 'Tropicbelle'

Tropic Belle Mat Rush: Large, evergreen, rhizomatic, clump-forming grass-like plant 2-3' tall x 3 1/2' wide with pale greenish-yellow fragrant flowers with spiny bracts from spring-summer. Great in containers and for cut flowers. Full sun to part shade. Low to high water. Attracts pollinators. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand, bog and drought tolerant once established, but appreciates occasional irrigation. Deer, gopher, rabbit and fire resistant.
