Libertia peregrinans

Orange Libertia, Sand Iris, Orange Kiwi Grass: Colorful rhizomatic perennial (spreads by runners) with stiff upright foliage to 2' tall. The leaves are green in the center and bright orange along the margins. Lightly fragrant, pure white blooms in spring followed by yellow, berry-like-seed capsules. Attracts birds and pollinators. Good in containers. Full sun to part sun. Medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand and drought tolerant once established, but prefers occasional water. Deer, rabbit and fire resitant.
