Lepechinia fragrans

Fragrant Pitcher Sage: CA native shrub with very fragrant, soft, hairy foliage to 4-5' tall and wide. Showy, light lavender-purple, wide-mouthed, foxglove-like tubular flowers bloom in mid to late spring, attracting bumble bees and hummingbirds. Full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Deer resistant. Cut back foliage for denser growth.
