Lathyrus vestitus

Pacific Pea: CA native perennial vine 4-8' tall x 2-3' wide with tendrils, producing clusters of fragrant blue to lavender and purple flowers in spring. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Excellent for naturalizing on slopes, woodland edges, or among shrubs where it can trail or climb for support. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Clay, sand, wind and drought tolerant when established. Deer resistant.
