Kale 'Richmond's Pride' (Brassica oleracea v. acephala)

Purple Tree Collard: Easy to grow, perennial vegetable that can grow 6-10' tall with an abundance of nutritious leaves for several years. It is especially tasty in the winter and spring, when the leaves turn purple and become sweeter and more tender. Summer irrigation will keep the leaves from getting tough. In fall after the rains start, the leaves are at their best. Good for containers. Grows indoors or out. Attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Full sun to part sun. Medium water. Seacoast, wind, sand, clay, and heat tolerant once established.
