Juncus effusus 'Quartz Creek'

Quartz Creek Soft Rush: Fast-growing CA native evergreen rhizomatic ornamental rush with narrow, upright, dark green, erect, round stems that grow 18-30" tall x 20" wide. Expands with runners, eventually forming dense colonies but grows slowly and more like a clumping grass. Reddish-brown flowers in late spring-summer. Great in containers and for cut flower arrangements. Full sun to part shade. Medium to high water. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, bog, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and gopher resistant.
