Juncus effusus 'Quartz Creek'

Quartz Creek Soft Rush: Evergreen rhizomatic rush with dark green, long erect grass-like rounded stems that grow to 18-30" tall, eventually forming dense colonies. Expands with runners but grows slowly so behaves like a clumping type grass. Flowers are reddish-brown. Plant in full sun to part shade. Tolerates clay, sand, heat, deer, rabbits, gophers, and drought. Best with medium to moist soil. Useful as a mass planting, accent or in a container.
