Iris douglasiana

Douglas iris: Perennial CA native. Wide clumps of arching evergreen leaves grow to 18" tall by 36" wide, which have lavender blue flowers with brushes of creamy white and yellow in the center. Part sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, sand, clay and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
