Impatiens sodenii 'Robert the Red'

Shrub Balsam, Poor Man's Rhododendron: Perennial Impatiens shrub 5' tall x 6' wide with dark red stems and lush green leaves flushed with red. Fast-growing with large 3” rosy pink flowers. Long blooming, good for dry shade. Good for containers.Part sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established but looks lusher with occasional irrigation. Hummingbird and pollinator friendly. Deer resistant.
