Roselle, Asian Sour Leaf, Indian Sorrel, Jamaican Tea, Florida Cranberry: Evergreen upright subshrub perennial often treated as an annual. Fast growing to 3-6' tall x 2-3' wide. 3-5" long green edible maple like leaves. 3" wide showy and edible white to pale yellow flowers bloom from early summer to fall. Long bloom season. Full sun. Medium to high water. Heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer and rabbit resitant. Commonly used in many cultures for hibiscus tea, curry, and pickling.
